Updating Listing Content

When you make a change to a property's details in your property management software (PMS), and those changes have been synched in the VacayHome Connect portal, either manually or automatically, the corresponding listing(s) will update automatically according to the daily sync schedule. If you have made a change to a property and need to update the listing before the next sync, use the manual listing sync feature in the listing management section or the Property Overview to sync property details on demand. 

NOTE: Some property management software products do have an additional waiting period of up to 24 hours before updated rates are available to VacayHome Connect in the API. VacayHome Connect is only able to display the details that are available in the API.

Synching Listing Content

Before you follow the below steps to update your listing, verify that the changes made in your PMS are reflected in the VacayHome Connect client portal. Depending on the changes made in your PMS, the sync may run over night. If you need to sync content sooner, follow the steps in this article on Synching Property Data, to sync property data manually. 

Once you have verified that details are correct in the VacayHome Connect client portal, you're ready to sync the listing. 

1. Click on the channel name (ex. Expedia or Vrbo) in the left-hand menu, to view your your listings.
2. Locate the listing that you would like to update, and click on the three dots to the far right of the property information to open the edit and sync options.
3. Click on Update listing to push updates to the corresponding listing.
   

You can also access the Update listing functionality from the property list: 

1. Click on Properties in the left-hand menu, to view your list of properties. 
2. Locate the property whose listing you wish to sync and click on its name. This will open the Property Overview. 
3. In the upper right corner, you'll see the property's listing information. Hover over the listing channel to highlight the box in blue, then click anywhere in the blue area. This will take you to the listings page. 
4. As above, click the three dots to the far right of the property information to open the edit and sync options.
5. Click on Update listing to push updates to the corresponding listing.
