When a property leaves your rental program, before you deactivate the unit in your property management system (PMS), there are a few steps you should take to ensure all related listings are deactivated.
If you list on Expedia or Vrbo, follow the below steps. If you list on any other channels, please submit a help ticket with information about the unit you are deactivating and we will assist you through the process.
Disable the listing(s) in your VacayHome Connect client portal
This step should be completed for each property that is being removed from distribution.
-
- Click on the listing site name (ex. Expedia or Airbnb) in Channels section of the left hand navigation to view the property list.
- Use the search box to locate the property in the list.
- Click on the three dots to the right of the listing information to open the actions menu.
- Click Disable. This will disable the listing and disconnect it from the channel.
(optional) Archive the listing(s)
This optional step permanently removes the unit from inventory, so the listing cannot be reactivated. Use this option to ensure the listing is not re-enabled in the future.
