Resetting an expired password

Client portal passwords expire after 90 days. If your password has expired, follow the below steps to reset your password. 

1. When you log into the client portal, https://sentinel.vacayhomeconnect.com/login, you will receive a warning that your password has expired. 
2. Click the reset link in the warning message to initiate the password reset process.
   
3. Enter the email address that you use to log into the client portal on the next page and click Continue. The system will generate a password reset email that will be sent to the email address that you entered. 
4. Check your inbox for an email from [e-mail], which contains a link to reset your password. 
5. Click the link or the Confirm button in the email. This will open a new window with password reset instructions. 
6. Follow the prompts to create a new password. 
7. Once you have created a new password, you can return to the client portal login page and use the new password to log in. 

Resetting a forgotten password

1. From the client portal login page, https://sentinel.vacayhomeconnect.com/login, click the Forgot password? link. 
2. Enter the email address that you use to log in and click Send email. This will generate a password reset email that will be sent to the email address you use to log in. 
3. Click the password reset link or the Confirm button in the email and follow the prompts to create a new password. 
4. Return to the client portal login page and log in using the new password. 

Resetting your password via Account Settings

1. Log into the client portal as usual, https://sentinel.vacayhomeconnect.com/login.   
2. Click the Account Settings icon in the upper right corner. 
3. Select Account Settings from the menu. 
4. Click the Reset Password button. 
5. A password reset link will be sent to the email address that you use to log in.
   The email will be sent from [e-mail], and will have the subject Reset your password. 
6. Click the password reset link or the Confirm button in the email and follow the prompts to create a new password. 
7. Return to the client portal login page and log in using the new password.
