Image Tagging

When a property is imported into your property list in the VacayHome Connect client portal, the images are tagged automatically with the photo type and category. We use machine learning to identify the image and categorize it appropriately. This takes the manual work out of photo tagging, and having your photos labeled helps boost your score on listing sites. It's a win-win. 

Photos must meet the minimum quality requirements outlined in this article, Image Requirements, and the pictures should be clear without a lot of obstructions, in order for the program to recognize the correct category. If the photo isn't recognized, a category will not automatically be selected. In general, image tagging is reviewed as part of the quality check during implementation, however, you do still have the ability to update the category manually. 

To view or modify a property's image tags, follow these steps while logged into the client portal:

1. Click on Properties in the left-hand column, to view the property list. 
2. Click on the property's name to open the property overview. 
3. In the left-hand column, click on Photos to view the property's images. 
4. Click on any photo to view it. 
5. Click the "i" in the upper right corner to view the photo's attributes. This is where you'll find the photo type and category.
